Out of all the pages in this comic, I think this one turned out the best. My only real qualms are that Mephis doesn't really look to be whistling/singing, and panel 4 is a little confusing to tell where he is.

Now for good stuff though: Both expressions on Cait's face came out nicely, panel 3 to be more exact. I like his "WTF" face. The placement of Mephis' hands looks very natural, nothing too stiff.

I was originally trying to position him, Mephis, in a humming expression, and even that was proven quite difficult. Singing / whistling seemed more fitting. Yet it was a minor detail that, I the artist, added to balance the action against the silence that they described.

As for panel four, true he seems to hard to see, despite I did drew a skeleton of him to remind me of his positioning. Based on the reference, his digi-graded feet seemed to be bigger then normal, thus I feel it's throwing him out of proportions. Yet, the main emphasis wasn't him in that panel, but the Chocobo/Cait 'money shot' as they describe it to me.

While most folks find expressions hard, I find those come more naturally to me. Body language I will considered a part of expressions hence they communicate to the audience on how they feel. Yet, I feel it's utmost important to show true emotions and thus I use several models to pose for me until I can get the right emotions via face and body.
